What is CPA Succession Service? In a nut shell, many young CPAs want to be entrepreneurs and strike out on their own but don't know how to get started, lack the networking contacts, and do not have sufficient capital for the traditional way through a practice buy out. On the other side of the coin many retirement minded practitioners are not quite ready to retire but want to ease out gradually and are looking for an association, leading to partnership and ultimately a buy-out. The older CPA knows that her younger colleague does not have the capital but is willing to work that out. More than likely the funds for the buy-out will come from cash flow of the acquired business. The aim of CPAmatchup® is to bring the two parties together in a seamless and almost effortless way.

We are not an accounting practice sales organization. We provide a venue for young entrepreneurs to get together with retirement minded practitioners where both are looking for an association leading up to a short-term partnership and eventual buy-out. Both parties understand that initially no money changes hands and there is no large sales commission. Just a reasonable fee for our service which is equivalent to few hours at the normal CPA billing rate.
