When I started
this website/service almost a year ago, I was convinced that
this service was something that was clearly missing from the
array of available resources for a practitioner looking for
succession or association options and young CPAs who wanted to
go into business for themselves. I advertised in both the Oregon
& Washington CPA magazines. The response, frankly, has not lived
up to what I thought it would be. If you are a potential user of
this service but have decided not to participate for one reason
or another I would like to find out why. To improve this service
if nothing else. Send me a message using the feedback form
provided, anonymously if you like, telling us what
we are doing wrong or what we can do better. I

I am a CPA, in
the ___ area, with over 25 years of both public and private
experience in a variety of industries. I am now providing
financial/accounting services to a small number of clients
on a part-time basis. I enjoy this, but am always looking
for other opportunities to grow my practice. Because of my
experience and flexible schedule, some of my best
sources for potential clients have been my colleagues in the
CPA community, however, most of these CPA's want to maintain
their client relationships so there is some caution on their
part to limit my involvement.
Could there be a
potential fit with perhaps a smaller practitioner in the
area wanting to transition out and my desire to slowly
build a clientele of longer term engagements? Do you
represent practitioners in this area? How does your fee
structure work?
